CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
1. WHAT TO SUBMIT:
Proposals are solicited for one-day or two-days workshops to be held on March 4-5, 2010. The purpose of WICON workshops is to provide a platform for presenting innovative ideas in a less formal and possibly more focused way than the conference itself. The Workshops will also offer a good opportunity for young researchers to present their works and to obtain feedback from an interested community. The format of each workshop is to be determined by the organizers, but it is expected that they contain ample time for general discussion. Researchers and practitioners from all segments of the Wireless Internet community are invited to submit proposals for review. The organizers of approved workshops are expected to define the workshop's focus, gather and review submissions, and decide upon final program content. Workshop organizers are expected to attend their entire workshop and to provide a report to WICON organizers summarizing the event.
2. A maximum 2-page workshop proposal should provide the following information:
- Title, theme and specific topics of the workshop
- Workshop length (one day or two-day)
- Names, contact information, and affiliation of workshop organizers
- Provisional list of program committee members
3. SUBMISSION:
Please send workshop proposals in plain text or PDF format by email with "WICON’10 Workshop Proposal" in subject line to the workshop chair, Prof. Javier Lopez, via email jlm@lcc.uma.es by July 15, 2010.
